A. | Fill tank one-third full with water. |
B. | Add abrasive grit product C10-042 while stirring the solution to mix. |
C. | Slowly add the optional anti-solidifying agent C04-109 while stirring. |
D. | Add the anti-rust agent C04-111 or the potassium dichromate C04-108 if required by the vapor blast equipment manufacturer. Carefully add the product while stirring solution. |
E. | Slowly add the wetting agent C04-110 , if desired. |
F. | Fill the tank with water to working level. |
G. | Stir solution again to mix. |

H. | Blasting Machine Mixture Check. |
(1) | Test of the concentration by sedimentation. |
(a) | Operate the machine for at least 15 minutes to make sure the abrasive material has mixed equally. |
(b) | Remove a 250 ml sample of the abrasive mixture with a graduated test tube. |
(c) | Let the abrasive material collect at the bottom of the test tube for 15 to 30 minutes. |
(d) | If the abrasive material does not collect at the bottom of the test tube in 30 minutes, and/or it is hard to see the separation line of the sedimentation and the liquid in 30 minutes, the solution is contaminated. Thus, replace the solution. |
(e) | The average concentration must be 10 to 40 percent by volume. |
(f) | Change the mixture as required if the concentration is not correct. |
4 . | Regeneration. |
