| This Service Bulletin introduces a new self-locking nut P/N J1411P06. |

| GE recommends that you do this Service Bulletin when the old self-locking nut is removed from the high pressure compressor (HPC). |
| The self-locking nuts do not need to be removed at the same time. The self-locking nuts should be replaced only when each HPC flange joint is disassembled. |
