This Service Bulletin has been introduced in production to these GEnx-1B engines:

These serial numbers are the best available data.
B.Description
This Service Bulletin releases the GEnx-1BXXG04 which incorporates a redesigned Turbine Center Frame, Low-Pressure Turbine, and configuration hardware for improved fuel efficiency.

This Service Bulletin introduces the GEnx-1BXXG04 configuration which consists of a redesigned Turbine Center Frame, Low-Pressure Turbine, and configuration hardware to improve fuel efficiency of the GEnx-1B engine. Depending on engine operating characteristics and configuration, this Service Bulletin may improve Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC) by 1.4%.

3.ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
A.Removal
(1)Removal instructions for the external hardware on the propulsor have not changed. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-00-02, DISASSEMBLY 002 and DISASSEMBLY 003.
(2)Removal instructions for the the LPT module assembly have not changed. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-00-04, REMOVAL 001.
(3)Removal instructions for the HPT module assembly have not changed. Refer to GEnx-1B EM, 72-00-02, DISASSEMBLY 004 and DISASSEMBLY 005.
(4)Disassembly instructions to remove the TCF from the HPT module assembly have not changed. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-50-00, DISASSEMBLY 001.
(5)Disassembly instructions for the LPT module assembly have not changed. Remove the mid fan shaft. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-00-04, DISASSEMBLY 001.
NOTE:
The LPT rotor/stator assembly is shipped with the TRF installed. Only the mid fan shaft needs to be removed.
B.Installation
(1)Assembly instructions for the LPT module assembly have not changed. Install the mid fan shaft. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-00-04, ASSEMBLY 001.
NOTE:
