1.PLANNING INFORMATION
A.Effectivity
* * * FOR GEnx-1B54, -1B58, -1B64, -1B67, -1B70
This Service Bulletin has been introduced in production to these GEnx-1B engines:

GEnx-1B engines, serial numbers 956-104, 956-105, 956-106, 956-140, and 956-141.
These serial numbers are the best available data.
The combustor case P/N 2303M23G11 is affected by this Service Bulletin.
B.Description
This Service Bulletin provides a new combustor case P/N 2303M23G19 and associated hardware to the engine illustrated parts catalog (EIPC).
 This combustion case is the same as the production P/N 2303M23G11 except for the addition of an access pad to permit installation of an instrumentation rake for flight test use. For production use the instrumentation pad is covered with a blank-off plate.
C.Compliance
Category 7
GE recommends that you do this Service Bulletin at customer's convenience.
NOTE:
This Service Bulletin can be accomplished in shop.
