| The fuel metering unit (FMU) VIN 8062-1106 (P/N 2459M17P01) and tube cap P/N J1315G08 are affected by this Service Bulletin. |

| This Service Bulletin introduces a new FMU VIN 8062-1197 (P/N 2459M17P03). |
| Also, this Service Bulletin provides instructions to rework the affected FMU to VIN 8062-1197 (P/N 2459M17P03). |

| (1) | Objective: |
| To introduce a new FMU part number and provide instructions to rework the FMU to the latest standard part number. |
| (2) | Condition: |
| The current operability bleed valve (OBV) electro-hydraulic servo valve (EHSV) on the FMU is unused (non-functional). |
| (3) | Cause: |
| The OBV is not installed on production engines. |
| (4) | Improvement: |
| The new ram FMUs do not include OBV EHSV, reducing weight of the assembly. |
| (5) | Substantiation: |
| Substantiation is by analysis and comparative analysis. |
