WARNING:
DO NOT USE THE PRIMER NEAR FLAMES OR HEAT, BECAUSE THE PRIMER IS FLAMMABLE. DO NOT LET THE PRIMER TOUCH YOU. THE PRIMER IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR SKIN AND EYES. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE PRIMER. THE FUMES ARE DANGEROUS TO YOUR KIDNEYS AND LIVER. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD FLOW OF AIR.
(a)Apply C03-001 primer or C03-100 primer to the threads and friction surfaces of the bolts (01-050), the internal diameter (ID) of the boltholes, and the surface of the support bracket (01-030) and support bracket (1) that contacts the fan case.
WARNING:
CONTACT WITH EYES/FACE/SKIN MAY CAUSE IRRITATION OR BURNING. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED WHEN HANDLING OR USING THIS MATERIAL.
(b)Apply C02-058 thread lubricant to the threads of the bolts (01-050) and the self-locking nuts (01-060).
(c)Install the bolts (01-050) in the boltholes on the forward side of the fan case forward ring.
(d)Install the support bracket (01-030) and support bracket (1) on the aft side of the split flange at boltholes No. 30 and 31. Refer to Figure 2.
(e)Install the self-locking nuts (01-060) on the bolts (01-050) on the aft side of the fan case forward ring.
(f)Torque the self-locking nuts (01-060) to 202-238 lb in. (22.9-26.9 Nm).
(g)Torque the self-locking nuts (01-060) again to 202-238 lb in. (22.9-26.9 Nm).
(2)Install the oil scavenge tube (1, Figure 1) to the oil tank (01-010, 79-11-10) assembly. Refer to Figure 1 and do as follows:
