| This Service Bulletin releases a new fuel nozzle VIN 6100005E05 (GE P/N 2448M48P05). |
| This Service Bulletin also releases reworked fuel nozzles VIN 6100005E06 (P/N 2448M48P06) and VIN 6100005E07 (P/N 2448M48P07) that rework the affected fuel nozzles returned from service. |

| (1) | Objective: |
| To introduce new parts to improve reliability and also introduce rework procedures to upgrade the existing fuel nozzles to improve their reliability. |

| The current fuel nozzle exhibits aft shroud oxidation, missing material, and thermal fatigue cracking. |
| (3) | Cause: |
| The higher operating temperatures and stresses than originally predicted. |
| (4) | Improvement: |
| The new or reworked fuel nozzles have improved materials and cooling distribution along with the new environmental coatings applied to the tip. |
| (5) | Substantiation: |
| Substantiation is by analysis and comparative analysis. |
