| This Service Bulletin releases the configuration GEnx-1BXX/P1G01 which incorporates a redesigned combustion chamber and high pressure turbine for reduced hot section flowpath distress. |

| This Service Bulletin certifies the GEnx-1B75/P1G01 configuration and lower thrust configurations to introduce the redesigned product improved combustor, forward inner nozzle support, stage 1 HPT nozzle, and stage 1 HPT blade together for service. All three changes included in this Service Bulletin are required to support a thrust increase up to GEnx-1B75/P1 ratings. |

| In order to convert a GEnx-1BXXG04 configuration to a GEnx-1BXX/P1G01 configuration, the HPT nozzle, seals and FINS introduced by S/B 72-0095, in addition to the HPT blade introduced by S/B 72-0089, and the combustor introduced by S/B 72-0067 must be concurrently introduced to a GEnx-1BXXG04 as is defined by S/B 72-0040. All hardware is required and configuration chart is set up to show this change. |
