| B. | Description |
| This Service Bulletin releases the GEnx-1B/P2 new hardware names and part numbers information to the Engine Illustrated Parts Catalog (EIPC). This Service Bulletin also provides instructions to convert the low pressure turbine (LPT) module from a GEnx-1BXX/G03, GEnx-1BXX/G04, or GEnx-1BXX/P1G01 to the GEnx-1BXX/P2G01 configuration. |
| Revision 4 of this Service Bulletin also releases the option to rework the turbine rear frame (TRF). Refer to GEnx-1B S/B 72-0333. In addition, Revision 4 of this Service Bulletin deletes the upgrade kits P/N 739L363G01, P/N 739L463G01, and P/N 739L563G01 as they are not necessary since the TRF can be reworked. |
| Revision 5 of this Service Bulletin releases new part numbers for the LPT stages 6 and 7 shrouds and a new post-GEnx-1B S/B 72-0416 LPT case P/N 2307M48G02 to the upgrade kit P/N 739L361G01. |

| 3. | ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS |
| A. | Upgrade of the LPT Module Assembly on the GEnx-1BXX/G03 |
| (1) | Get access to the LPT module assembly. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-00-04, REMOVAL 001 and DISASSEMBLY 001. |
| (2) | Disassemble the LPT rotor/stator module. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-56-00, DISASSEMBLY 001, CONFIG 01. |
| (3) | Get the new LPT rotor/stator module parts applicable to the PIP 2 configuration. |
| (4) | Assemble the new LPT rotor/stator module. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-56-00, ASSEMBLY 001, CONFIG 02. |
| (5) | Disassemble the TRF assembly. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-57-00, DISASSEMBLY 001. |

| (6) | Replace the TRF (SIN 940A0) with the one applicable to the PIP 2 configuration. |
