A.Remove the coatings from the seal as follows:
(1)For all part numbers, remove the thermal spray coating from the seal teeth. Refer to TASK 72-53-42-300-801 (72-53-42, REPAIR 001).
(2)For part numbers 2417M60P03   , 2756M01P01   , 2759M04P01   , and 2793M25P01   only, remove the anti-corrosion coating from the aft transition seal neck. Refer to TASK 72-53-42-100-801 (72-53-42, CLEANING 001).

6 . Post Inspection Procedure.
Subtask 72-53-42-380-001
A.Shot peen the surfaces in the marked zones. Refer to Figure 806, TASK 70-47-01-380-016 (SHOTPEENING), and as follows:
(1)Mask the coated areas to prevent coating damage as follows:
(a)Use C10-021  masking tape or an applicable equivalent as necessary.
(2)Use C04-166  conditioned cut wire.
(3)Shot peen to an intensity of 6-12N.
(4)Use C10-205  test strips.
(5)A minimum coverage of 125 percent is necessary.
(6)Remove all the masking tape.
