| B. | Description |
| This Service Bulletin releases the GEnx-1B/P2 new hardware names and part numbers information to the Engine Illustrated Parts Catalog (EIPC). This Service Bulletin also provides instructions to convert the high pressure compressor (HPC) rotor module from a GEnx-1BXX/G03, GEnx-1BXX/G04, or GEnx-1BXX/P1G01 to the GEnx-1BXX/P2G01 configuration. |
| Revision 5 adds the stage 3-4 compressor rotor spool to the GEnx-1BG03 upgrade kit P/N 739L351G01 and deletes the stages 6-10 compressor rotor spool from the GEnx-1BG04 upgrade kit P/N 739L451G01 and the GEnx-1B/P1 upgrade kit P/N 739L551G01 because they can now be reworked. |
| Revision 6 removes the compressor discharge pressure (CDP) seal from the GEnx-1BG03 upgrade kit P/N 739L351G01, GEnx-1BG04 upgrade kit P/N 739L451G01, and GEnx-1B/P1 upgrade kit P/N 739L551G01, as the CDP seal P/N 2116M68P01 can now be reused. |
| Revision 7 removes the seal wire P/N 9392M22P01 from the HPC rotor assembly as it is no longer required. |
| Revision 8 updates the support codes to properly reflect part replacement. The HPC stage 3 and stage 4 blades are added to the upgrade kits. |

| (1) | Rework the stages 6-10 compressor rotor spool P/N 2439M35G01 to P/N 2610M90G01. Refer to RD 050-1405 and do as follows: |
| (a) | Use method B to calculate the remaining life of the reworked spool. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 05-11-00, LIFE LIMITS 001. |
| C. | Installation |
| (1) | Assemble the HPC rotor assembly (Figure 1). Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-31-00, ASSEMBLY 001, CONFIG 02. |
