| This Service Bulletin releases the GEnx-1B/P2 new hardware names and part numbers (P/N) information to the Engine Illustrated Parts Catalog (EIPC). This Service Bulletin also provides instructions to convert the combustor diffuser nozzle (CDN) module from a GEnx-1BXX/G03, GEnx-1BXX/G04, or GEnx-1BXX/P1G01 to the GEnx-1BXX/P2G01 configuration. |
| Revision 4 of this Service Bulletin updates the configuration chart for the stage 10 outlet guide vane (OGV) (SIN 08001), high pressure turbine (HPT) nozzle support (SIN 172A1), and the combustor case P/N 2303M23G23 (SIN 12001). |
| Revision 4 of this Service Bulletin releases the new GEnx-1BG03 upgrade kit P/N 739L345G03, GEnx-1BG04 upgrade kit P/N 739L445G03, and GEnx-1B/P1 upgrade kit P/N 739L545G03, with a new part number for the HPT nozzle support (SIN 172A1), a new bolt cover (SIN 172A2), and new stage 1 nozzles (SIN 172A0 and SIN 172A8). |

| It is permissible to intermix combustor diffuser assembly P/N 2376M54G03, P/N 2376M54G05, or P/N 2376M54G07 on combustor nozzle assembly P/N 2376M45G03, P/N 2376M45G05, or P/N 2376M45G07. |
| All four FINS nut shields must be replaced with the new or reworked configuration concurrently. Mixing of the proposed and the superseded configuration in the same engine is not permitted. |

| B. | Configuration Upgrade Procedure |
| (1) | Upgrade seal support (SIN 172A4) from either P/N 2303M26G01 or P/N 2303M26G03 to P/N 2303M26G04 using the modification procedure, refer to the RD 172-368. |

| (2) | Upgrade combustion chamber assembly (SIN 12400) from either P/N 2258M80G01 or P/N 2258M80G06 or P/N 2258M80G04 to P/N 2258M80G13 using the disassembly procedure, refer to GEnx-1B CIR, 72-00-42, REPAIR 001 and assembly procedure GEnx-1B CIR, 72-00-42, REPAIR 002. | (c) | Replace or rework the old stage 10 OGV P/N 2303M16G04, P/N 2303M16G06, or P/N 2303M16G07 (SIN 08001) with a new stage 10 OGV P/N 2303M16G08 (SIN 08001) or an equivalent reworked part number as listed in paragraph 2.C., Configuration Chart. Refer to the GEnx-1B S/B 72-0349. |
| (3) | Change fuel manifold (SIN 34101) from P/N 2411M76G01 to P/N 2538M36G01 and fuel manifold (SIN 34102) from P/N 2411M77G01 to P/N 2538M37G01 using the modification procedure, refer to the RD 340-328. |
| (4) | If the existing combustor case P/N 2303M23G11 is reused, replace the inserts and locking rings with the modification procedures, refer to GEnx-1B S/B 72-0108 and GEnx-1B S/B 72-0119. |
| (5) | For the stage 1 nozzle P/N 2305M55G06, replace the old HPT support nozzle (Figure 1) (SIN 172A1) with a new HPT support nozzle P/N 2407M46G06 (SIN 172A1). Use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G02, P/N 739L445G02, or P/N 739L545G02. |
| (6) | For the stage 1 nozzle P/N 2305M55G08, replace the old HPT support nozzle (Figure 1) (SIN 172A1) with a new HPT support nozzle P/N 2407M46G08. Use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G03, P/N 739L445G03, or P/N 739L545G03. |
| (7) | Upgrade the diffuser P/N 2381M98G03 to P/N 2784M08G01. Refer to GEnx-1B S/B 72-0405. |
| (8) | Take a new FINS nut shield or rework the old FINS nut shield P/N 2303M28P01, P/N 2303M28P02, P/N 2445M58P01, or P/N 2445M58P02. For rework instructions, refer to RD 172-393. |

| (1) | Assemble the HPT stage 1 nozzle assembly again. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-51-00, ASSEMBLY 001, CONFIG 02 and do as follows: |
| (a) | For the HPT stage 1 nozzle P/N 2305M55G06, use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G02, P/N 739L445G02, or P/N 739L545G02. |
| (b) | For the HPT stage 1 nozzle P/N 2305M55G08, use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G03, P/N 739L445G03, or P/N 739L545G03. |
| (2) | Assemble the combustor diffuser assembly again. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-41-00, ASSEMBLY 001, CONFIG 02 and do as follows: |
| (a) | For the combustor diffuser assembly P/N 2376M54G08, use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G02, P/N 739L445G02, or P/N 739L545G02. |
| (b) | For the combustor diffuser assembly P/N 2376M54G09, use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G03, P/N 739L445G03, or P/N 739L545G03. |
| (3) | Assemble the CDN assembly again. Refer to the GEnx-1B EM, 72-40-00, ASSEMBLY 001, CONFIG 02 and do as follows: |
| (a) | For the CDN assembly P/N 2376M45G09, use upgrade kit P/N 739L345G02, P/N 739L445G02, or P/N 739L545G02. |
